山东太阳金店足球俱乐部隶属于山东太阳金店全资子公司——山东金太阳体育文化发展有限公司。俱乐部参加济南市业余足球联赛，并代表济南获得2014加油中国梦幻世界杯全民足球赛全国总决赛的季军。 2015年8月8日全国全民健身日，在跟山东鲁能泰山足球俱乐部的热身赛上，以0:16惨败。
队徽含义：
颜色：
俱乐部队徽的颜色主要由红、黄、蓝、白四色组成，正是代表着俱乐部的口号：认真、活泼、积极、宽容
形态：
胜利的火炬---队徽整体看上去像一把火炬，是象征着胜利的火炬，代表着球队将高举火炬走向胜利！
初升的太阳---队徽的上半部分可以看出像是一个早晨初升的太阳，代表着活力和热情！
勇攀高峰---不难看出队徽红色部分还像一座座山峰，代表着队员们勇攀高峰战胜困难的意志和精神！
胜利的"V"---当我们将队徽翻转180度后大家会发现一个一个的"V"字型，"V"寓意胜利和冠军，也是寄予俱乐部发展的祝福，同样，这种祝福也会延伸到每一位队员的身上，并且会不断的传承下去！

2015年8月8日，山东太阳金店与鲁能集团合作开发建设鲁能领秀城贵和足球公园，暨山东太阳金店足球训练基地正式开园。足球公园包括一块国际标准的足球场及英伦风格多功能休息区。球场为国际标准五人制场地尺寸40米×20米（可做为7人制使用），采用国际足联二星认证的人造草坪，最大程度保留了与天然草坪的脚感相似度，球场与英超切尔西足球俱乐部的二号训练场为同等标准。
