The staff of the organizing committee of the competition said that the Youth Football Invitational Tournament is expected to use the event as an opportunity to promote the exchange of sports culture among the cities along the “Belt and Road” and actively respond to the national strategy of integration of the Yangtze River Delta at the level of sports competition. At the same time, compared with last year's Suning Cup, this year's team from China was expanded to four. The organizing committee hopes to improve the level of Chinese youth football players through high-level competitions and promote the healthy development of Chinese football in the long run.

It is understood that the four Chinese teams of this year's Suning Cup are from Jiangsu Suning Football Club, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua Football Club, Evergrande Football School and Zhejiang Greentown Football Club. The two foreign teams are the Japanese Kashima Antler Football Club and South Korea Jeollabuk-do selection team, the players are born from January 1, 2005 - December 31, 2005, also known as the U13 echelon.

According to the competition system and schedule, the six teams were divided into two groups for single-cycle competitions. After three rounds of group matches, the two teams competed against each other and decided to play 1-6 seats. The host Jiangsu Suning Football Club and Shanghai Greenland Shenhua Football Club and Japan Kashima Antler Football Club are in Group A. Evergrande Football School, Zhejiang Greentown Football Club and South Korea Jeollabuk-do selection team are listed in Group B.

All teams and referees will arrive at the Jiangning Football Training Base on December 13th. On December 14th, the pre-match press conference, opening ceremony and opener will be held. The opening match will be played by Jiangsu Suning against Shanghai Greenland Shenhua. 12.15, 12.16 will be held in the second and third rounds of the group stage, 12.17 will be qualifying, the award ceremony and the closing ceremony. The official partner of the event, PP Sports, will broadcast the game live.
