Dark Horse Comics has teamed with the Portland Timbers and NWSL's Portland Thorns to create comic book heroes out of four of the Rose City's favorite players: Diego Valeri (El Maestro), Diego Chara (La Sonrisa), Tobin Heath (Tobin) and Christine Sinclair (Captain Sinc).

It's not just the art, of course. The folks at Dark Horse have written the fable behind the creation of players' character, or what in comic book terms is known as the origin story.
