Strong Sports Youth Football: On May 14, Beijing time, this morning, under the guidance of the Youth Sports Department of the General Administration of Sport of China and the China Football Association, the fourth "China Sports Development Foundation Cup" China Urban Children's Football League was opened in Jinan, supported by the China Football Development Foundation and hosted by the National Sports School Federation.
65 clubs and school football teams from the city have signed up to participate in this competition, which will be divided into U8 and U9 mixed male and female groups, and U10, U11, and U12 men's groups. The competition will adopt a double round robin league system, and the champion teams of each group will represent Jinan in the national finals. The number of participants in the Jinan competition area exceeded a thousand, with over 80% of the teams participating mainly being youth football clubs, which is a further improvement and supplement to the Jinan youth football competition system.
Since its establishment in 2018, the Chinese Urban Children's Football League has successfully held three sessions. A total of 2264 teams and over 31000 athletes participated in nearly 20000 matches, gradually becoming a well-known and prestigious children's football brand event. The league is centered around the city, providing a platform for football enthusiasts aged 8 to 12 to communicate and showcase their talents. It is an important measure to improve the youth football competition system, consolidate the foundation of social football development, and promote the development of youth training and youth football.
