Strong Sports Youth Football:On May 14th, Beijing time, the 2023 Second China Youth Football League (Men's High School Age Group U17) Central Zone Qualifiers successfully concluded at the National Southern Boundaries Football Training Base. Our school's football players united, fought hard, and relied on a sound attacking system and a good mentality to win the championship of the competition with a complete record, advancing to the national finals.

In 2015, Chengdu No.7 Middle School football high-level player reserve team was established by the municipal education bureau. It is a pure campus football team. Adhering to the school's educational value pursuit of "humanistic nourishment and personality growth", the team adheres to the football student education concept of "grasping football with one hand, grasping learning with one hand, and advancing with both hands" under the integration mode of sports and education, and is committed to cultivating football team students to play football with their feet and brains, A versatile talent who plays football with character.

After several years of development, Chengdu No.7 Middle School has been awarded the first batch of national campus football characteristic schools and national campus football demonstration schools by the Ministry of Education. In 2016, it was awarded the "Sichuan Youth Football Reserve Talent Base", in 2019, it was awarded the "Sichuan Football Reserve Talent Competition Training Base School", and in 2023, it was awarded the "Sports Reserve Talent Base" by the University of Electronic Science and Technology. At the same time, our school actively engages in campus football cooperation with the "Chengdu Rongcheng Football Club" and the "Sichuan Football Association" to promote the development of campus football.

In recent years, schools have utilized high-quality educational resources and meticulous personality management to cultivate football team students. First students, then players, be good students first, then good players. The school adopts a decentralized class arrangement and centralized training model, fully mobilizing students' enthusiasm for learning and training, so that every team student receives sufficient care in learning, training, and life.

Over the years, Chengdu No.7 Middle School has regularly held the "Chengdu No.7 Middle School Campus Football Open Day" activity, which allows football enthusiasts from surrounding schools and communities to enter the campus and engage in technical exchanges, friendly matches, etc. with our students to achieve common improvement and create a good football atmosphere.

Under the care and guidance of the Municipal Education Bureau, with the support of various professional teams, and the joint management of various departments in the school, the football team has steadily advanced. Most of the team members were admitted to "Double First Class" universities such as Peking University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Sichuan University, Chongqing University, University of Electronic Science and Technology, and Southwest University of Finance and Economics.
