劲爆体育讯：新的一年，上海城市业余足球又有重头戏。在去年成功举办上海市首届市民运动会足球比赛的基础上，今年，上海还将进一步推动城市足球活动的深入开展。3月3日下午，上海城市足球联赛暨“上海市民足球大联赛”活动开幕式在上海大学（宝山校区）举行，标志着上海城市足球比赛的全新起航。本届城市足球联赛充分考虑上海足球活动人群的特点，比赛为8人制，参赛球队共32支，将于今年3月至11月间的周末进行甲级、乙级升降级联赛，历时9个月，共进行30轮240场比赛，直接参与赛事的运动员、教练员、裁判员等累计将近万人次。

该项赛事由上海市足球协会主办，上海着意体育赛事策划有限公司承办。赛事宗旨是努力为市民提供更多的足球健身活动，发展城市业余足球，健全上海足球体系，打造系统的城市足球联赛，形成“培育庞大的业余足球群众基础，夯实足球金字塔塔基，规范职业足球可持续发展”，最终架起“业余与职业”之间的桥梁。
